The Centerport Harbor Civic Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Centerport community. The purpose of the CHCA is to exercise, promote, and protect the privileges and interests of the residents of the hamlet of Centerport; to foster a healthy interest in the civic affairs of the community; to develop good citizenship; and to inquire into civic abuses and to seek redress thereof; and to secure by lawful means greater government accountability to taxpayers. The CHCA shall endeavor to share information impacting the well-being of the community, and to support the concerns of its citizens. The CHCA shall be non-partisan and apolitical.
